So note to self. If you are going to be shooting outside in 500% humidity let your equipment acclimate at least 15 minutes before your start shooting. Anyone ever have this happen at a really bad time?

Put your camera(s) and lens(s) in sealed zip-lock bags BEFORE you go from an indoor, cool, air-conditioned environment to outside.
The zip-lock bag keeps the humidity away from the camera/lens.

Once the camera/lens have warmed up to the outdoor ambient air temperature condensation can no longer form on the camera/lens.

In winter condensation forms going from outside to inside, but cold outside air cannot hold near as much moisture as warm/hot air can.

The first time that this happened to me was with my first digital P&S on a trip to Mexico. We went on one of those bus trips, where the bus is sub-arctic and then you get out into the muggy hot jungle to "see a site" - I have some fantastically foggy photos from that trip.
