good stuff!!

Cindy.. I know your business is doing well, you get clients, they love your photos, however... I really think you should really look at your work again. Dont get blinded with all the positive feedback from clients and some members here. To me, most of the photos have bad composition and they are generally too tight. You keep cropping someones foot, knee, finger tip, edge of the dress.. stuff like that. The angles aren't interesting. The skin looks fake on a lot of them. Must be your photoshop action that you love to always use. The black is too black and some shots are soft. The color looks fake.

Again.. just giving you a very harsh critic. I know we had a bad blood but I do want you to grow.

#15 and your cake shot are the best.

We don't have bad blood, Schwetty. Sorry I hurt your feelings in the past.........I was trying to help you grow as well. I know you struggle with the business sometimes.

I'm definately not the best photographer on the planet, or everyone's cup of tea, but I think that positive feedback from clients and others DOES mean alot.

Sorry you think everything about the photos suck. I guess you won't be hiring me anytime soon. :-P

But honestly, I've got nothing against you.

Dont like the bride's expression. The lady on the right touching the bride's boob and stick her tounge out doesnt look good or special to me. Plus I have said it 100x, the skin looks fake.

I personally would have made it b&w or make it a lot warmer. Right now the blue trees look weird.

5.
stancilforum05.jpg

Too much black, too tight. Cant see definition of the jacket and shoes.
6.
stancilforum06.jpg

Too tight. Wide angle would have been perfect here showing everyone was looking at the same thing (the bride i assume)

stancilforum07.jpg

He is not blurred enough to make it look artistic shot and she isnt looking at the father to make the photo special. Plus the eye is blocked halfway

Poor execution of collages I think. The 3 images dont compliment each other.

10.
stancilforum10.jpg

Pretty good. Not sure why you cut off her dress and the bottom of his shoe
11.
stancilforum11.jpg

He looks like a ghost with no legs. The lower body blends with the tree. Too much black.

12.
stancilforum12.jpg

Again, why cut off her dress? Water fountain looks blue. I would make this warmer even if it means it will make her dress a little cream tone.

13.
stancilforum13.jpg

Again, why cut off her dress?
14.
stancilforum14.jpg

Again, why cut off her dress? A little on the bright side too.
15.
stancilforum15.jpg

The best one I think.

16.
stancilforum16.jpg

Why cut off his foot? You are so close to showing everything, why not? Her face is too cold (the sun and the flash dont blend).
17.
stancilforum17.jpg

No comment other than the skin looks fake.
18.
stancilforum18.jpg

Bad composition. Too centered.
19.
stancilforum21.jpg

Cute.. wish she wasnt that centered. Maybe recrop?

Uninteresting angle. It looks like a butt crack.

22.
stancilforum24.jpg

Left one is too flashy, the right one why cut off his finger?
23.
stancilforum25.jpg

The left one is pretty good other than the processing. I still like it wider. The right one? why cut off knee and hand? You almost fit him in the frame.

25.
stancilforum26.jpg

They are both too tight

26.
stancilforum27.jpg

Left, Not enough DOF. Right, good.. wish you didnt cut off the base

27.
stancilforum28.jpg

Uninteresting angle

28.
stancilforum29.jpg

No comment other than the 2 photos side by side have different WB

It is all right. You dont have a better frame? It looks like he doesnt want to be seen with her.

The rings look blue, the watermellon looks blue, the background looks like there is an aligator looking at the camera.

And my overall CC is, most of your shots are taken from if you are standing up. You want to shoot with more interesting angles. Go low to the ground almost touching the floor, kneel down, go high. Standing elevation is fine but not all the time.
