Jetty, yacht & fog

The fog hiding the tidal River Wyre at Skippool, Lancashire, emphasised the strong shapes of this jetty and yacht. A black and white treatment seemed an appropriate treatment.

I agree, the b/w treatment works very well with this one. I used to sail a lot, and this picture really speaks to me and makes me reminisce of all the different places visited by boat. The adventure of seeing a new place always began upon docking.

Thanks for the feedback Troy, Antarctican & Dani. I've photographed this location before, but the fog gave it a completely different, less "cluttered" feel.
