Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hey, Labor Day weekend I had the chance to see the Reds play in Denver. We only get to do this once a year so its not like I have any experience shooting sports. Below is my shot. My timing was good, but my photo isn't sharp. I can't decide if I needed a faster shutter (it was at 1/640) or if I needed a smaller aperture (f5.6) or if it was something all together different. Take a look. C&C welcome. Thanks. (BTW, this is just for fun family photography) Also if you have any upload size tips I'll take those too.

Thanks for looking!

**Crickets** any suggestions? Should I post a larger photo??

The photo looks sharp to me. If you're talking about the motion blur of the bat and the ball, then yes, a faster shutter speed would have 'frozen' the action more.

Thanks. I guess I'll try again next year with a 1/1000 shutter speed. I thought I was being cautious with 1/640, I really thought 1/500 would be sufficient. Guess not.
I was however more talking about the blur on the uniform but I think that is also motion blur. Anyway, thanks for the input.
