June Theme: "Portraits"

Alright so here's the June challenge, "Portraits"!

As always the winner of this month's challenge will get User Gallery web space courtesy of Chase.

The deadline for submissions is June 30th.
You can email your photo to [email protected].
We ask each member to keep their photo anonymous (no distinguishing watermarks, and no photos that have been posted previously on the forum), to include their forum username when submitting, and to submit no more then one photo.
Please ensure that the submitted photo is in the form of a jpeg image and no larger than 70k. Images that are way over size wise, will not be accepted.

I have a dumb question, but what exactly is meant by portrait? Just a pic of a person, or should it be more like a formal portrait, or are candid shots of a person still considered portraits?

I just don't take people enough!

It doesn't have to be formal. There are some candid shots that people have submited that are quite good.
You're running out of time though orie, you'd better go shoot someone!

I shot someone last Friday, I just wasn't sure which one I should use. I printed one last night tho, so I should be scanning and sending tonight hopefully!
