Just a fly

Hi.

I went this morning to a local pond to shoot shoot some dragonflies but I couldn't find even one. One the way back I saw this fly on my car so I took few shots.

Very nice, both detail and composition, although you may want to crop a little more on the left, to make it equal with the right. I like the reflection!

Macro flash

I have one question - do you guys think shotting macro in RAW will make the photo quality better?

I personally have always used jpeg but I think Raw is better if you plan on editing the photo. I find jpeg good though, but again, I havent shot in RAW so I'm not sure.

Yes, you can buy a flash just for macro photography.

Oh, Ive heard of a ring flash, just never heard it called a macro flash. My mistake.
