Just a quick hello!

Just wanted to introduce myself real quick. My name is Tony, I am 28 years old and from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I have always been a fan of photography but never had the equipment to really do anything about it. Well I finally decided that I was going to make the jump from point and shoot to a DSLR setup. Used some Christmas bonus money and some Best Buy gift cards and bought a T2i today. Got a pretty good package, along with the normal 18-55 lens I also got a 55-250 lens, a very nice Cannon bag and a decent class 10 8GB card. I am now reading and trying to figure out this whole mess of numbers and what they mean and how they affect my photos. I hope to learn a lot and hopefully one day contribute here.
