just a quick hello

Hey, I'm new, as my post count suggests. I'm Shannon, and I live on Long Island in NY. I just moved here in August from Massachusetts, and since I am 20 years old and my boyfriend and I are completely alone in this state, it's been an exciting few months. I am a writer who has yet to be published because she is too shy. I love taking pictures, but I don't have the money to purchase the equipment I have been craving. I do alright with the clunky SLR my grandfather left to me, and the little Nikon Coolpix my mom bought for me.

I made a post in the website section about the new site my boyfriend and I just started. I guess I'll stick the link here too..
