such a sad story!
today i decided "hey, lets step out of my comfort zone a bit and try some shorter exposures" what a bad idea....
iona beach is one of the only beaches in vancouver that gets decent waves, and i thought i'd take advantage of that by doing some 1/4 second exposures to catch the cool movement of the water. turns out i underestimated the size of the waves and ended up dousing my camera with a few big waves.
by that time my filters were wet and sticking together and i couldn't get a decent shot, and about 20 minutes later we had THE MOST GORGEOUS SUNSET EVER! i could have cried.
so here is one of the long 2 minute exposures i got before the big wave hit. i can't decide if its wonderful and minimalist, or just boring? c&c please
