Just bought a EPL1, First photos

These are my first pictures I've taken not using the camera on my cell phone.

I don't have a clue what I am doing, i just headed out with my camera, a tripod, and a photography for dummies handbook and took pictures of what seemed interesting.

I'm looking forward to any criticism and advise. But these are my first so don't be too rough

Pretty good. Are you familiar with the histogram display when you review your pictures on the camera LCD?

I'm familiar with what it is but I haven't learned to use it yet, thanks for the link.

You're welcome. It's really worth using to judge what you have and if it can be improved, in terms of exposure. Given the choice of a screen on the back of the camera which displayed the picture or just the histograms, I would choose the histograms. The histogram is always useful. Nice camera the EPL-1, BTW. Do you like using it?

I like it so far, but to be honest i have nothing to compare it to, i was literally using my blackberry to take pictures a few days ago so its all new to me
