Just one to say I have posted something recently. Appreciate any advise.

The arm business is confusing.. i dunno if she's holding her breast or the outside of the right arm.

Also the balance is a bit off with respect to contrast..

but i like the image overall

Patterns, such as the linear shadows in your image, destroy form.

Avoiding frontal compositions and lighting emphasize form.

You sort of have a conflict going on here. I like the shadow patterns, but your angle of view from above competes with the shadow patterns and becomes confusing. Try this shot without the pattern, or try the pattern from a more frontal angle.

i think its quite interesting ... i think the shadows in her face add to the overall photo ... without the shadows it would be less interesting to me

The skin tone and emotion of the subject is great. I will have to say that her arms get a bit confusing for the eye. Don't throw it out.

Thanks again everyone. I wish it wasn't so "muddy." But I do like the emotion aspect. I am going to play with shadows a little more and I will keep your tips in mind.
