just recived a negivitive scanner

Hello i am new to the photo world and just recive a negivitive scanner and will it quality to a digital transfer from a cdigital camera and i would like to know where I could just get the negs processed and not have to get prints

Your best bet would be to just call around locally. You could also just start shooting slide. You probably will be able to scan the slides, but you might want to double check.

Otherwise you could try your hand at processing the film.

Most all of the full service labs will scan your negatives for you in addition to or instead of printing. If you need high quality scans you go from paying around $3/24 exp to around $11/24 exp for high quality scans so you scanner will save you money that way. If you are good at following directions then developing your own film is a viable way to go. You don't need all of the enlarging equipment (most of the expense) if you are going to send the photos out to be printed anyway or use an ink-jet.
