Nicely done. The colors are nice & bright.

Why do I always feel just a bit guilty for liking saturated colors.

For the welding shot, try it again, with the flash cancelled and the camera tripod-mounted. THEN you will get your sparks. The light of the flash cancelled most of the light created by the welding.

I took some welding classes in high school. It was fun. There was always some twerp who insisted on welding in his sneakers. The instructor let him, after the warning on the first day. Sure enough, that guy always did the "hot foot dance" when spark burned through his laces. One guy had his pants leg on fire because a spark lit the frayed end of his blue jean leg. He did quite a dance too, until he put his whole leg in the water barrel.

That would have been my suggestion, Jeremy, only were you faster :D.

If you are interested to see my husband work with the flex, you can look up this_thread of mine, Tyson ... Photo 7, I think it is. That was taken at f8 (smallest aperture possible on the Powershot) and 4 seconds, camera resting on a table. That gave me the sparks (mostly so the one that takes a bee line towards my husband's eyes!)

Your aerial photos are always interesting!

That last image is awsome. I bulding shaped like a basket!

Yep it is a basket look on my web page I have 2 aerials of the basket. It belongs to Longaburger Basket company.

Here are a few shots from my remote control plane. It was raining today, not that you couldn't tell!

THAT building is insane ive never seen anything like it should be listed right away!

Can you imagine working there and giving directions to someone?

"Yes sir ..... we're on the 3rd street on your left, a few blocks down. Just look for the basket ... you can't miss us."

The third one should go in the Artsy Fartsy Self Portrait thread, IMO.

What kind of plane was it mounted to? I fly RC too, mostly electric brushless foam ones by Multiplex. Just getting into electric helis now too.

I fly a GWS Slow Stick, HiMax 2812-0850 Brushless, 910mah 3s Lipo, Futaba RX TX Reciever and servos. I use a Pentax Optio S40 and a S50 to shot Aerial Photography. Check out my web page there are some AP shots there. Send me a few pictures of your plane some time. I would love to see it.

i think number one would be awesome if you shot it at night.

#1 was shot from a remote control aircraft, shutter speeds are too long for night shots. That picture was shot with a Pentax S40 (point and shoot 4mp) from a little RC plane.

Nicely done Tyson. I think the self portrait is one of the best I've seen. #1 is Awsome. Makes me want an RC. Great composition of the Basket as well.
