Just trying out a new lens

Took a quick snapshot with my new lens, a Canon EF 70-200mm F/4L. Not the sharpest but it was low light, handheld and was in a hurry.

Actually, it's a pretty nice shot if you ask me. Might have cropped it a tad more so there was a little less space from the post to the side.

@ 1/400 and f/5, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be sharp. It looks good to me as well.

It looks sharp to me. In fact, I was surprised to see you had not even used a tripod. Sharp fence, branches with buds, and the horse hair, too.
