Just wondering what others here use for night time shooting? and does anyone use CHDK for canon powershot 300 HS? I my self don't use CHDK that much for my Canon powershot 300 HS but have to to get the most out of the HS system when doing nighttime shooting.

When I go night photography its usually for city landscape. I always bring my 14-24mm f/2.8, my tripod and a wireless remote shutter release.

Cool I have done some @ night city shooting with my Canon Rebel XS! Point it @ main street with it stock 18-55mm lens that came with it and with exp time of 5 sec or so looks pretty cool!

Here is one I did around 10pm pointing at an intersection with a 30 sec exp time and 300mm lens! the lights look bright but really were not and now looking at it I should have bumped up my f-stop just a bit to get rid of the to much white light from long exp...

Edit: Forgot to post this was taken with Canon Rebel XS camera
