Juvenile Bald Eagle

So a couple weeks ago our city had it's annual sandhill crane festival. Big bird watching thing. For our paper we decided to do a package highlighting other bird watching tours during the festival. One is a bald eagle tour at a nearby reservoir. When the reporter and I went out we didn't find and majestic adult bald eagles, but after 3 hours on the boat with our guide we finally came across an approximately 1-year old bald eagle.

I got a series of shots but this is the one we used. I'm quite proud of it because wildlife photography is one thing I've just never had an eye for. Let me know what you guys think.
