I was able to get with in 15 feet of this Juvi Caracara. Looks like he is eating some sort of Heron's foot!
Tried to get him to move out of the shade a bit but didn't want to push my luck since I was so close.

Beautiful shots! I really enjoy all of your posts, have you considered making nature calendars? You have quite the stock pile of great shots.
 
I have never seen that bird before. I would guess its some kind of raptor. Nice shot. It seems to have little fear of you.

I very cool Raptor at that. They are common in Mexico and Central America but over the years the have migrated north into South/Central Florida. These were shot in Brevard County.
