Kansas City Night Pics

Newb trying to learn, and welcome any input on what I can do to make my next trip out better.

all shots were taken between 10pm and 2am. Learned one thing...I need to bring a flashlight! also it's tough as heck to look through the view finder to see your shot when it's pitch black!

Welcome. I think these are some really great shots. The black and white of the fountain is really nice. (I think it is 7th from the end)

I just can't believe you went to the Liberty Memorial at night and didn't get mugged...

I gotta admit, I was very paranoid, but I did go with a couple other fellow photo lovers (dare I use that term at liberty memorial :lmao: ) and I brought a lil protection "just in case". I was pleased though... security came over and let us know they'd been watching us the last hour on camera and was just curious how long we planned on being there. very nice of em to watch out for us!

wish I had more time at the plaza, but it was LATE. another time

many thank you's everyone - I appreciate the kind words. I have begun to nit pick these pics, but I am overall pretty happy. I will have a KC PT II soon - theres lots I wanted to get too, but didn't have time.

holy ****, that was a lot of images. none were numbered, so that makes critique a long and arduous task. maybe for next time, post 5 or 6 images, and break it up into a few threads. that way, it won't be so confusing to give and take critique. saw a couple nice ones in there though, somewhere.

Im a big lover of night shots. The fountain ones are great. Just one thing though, a few are not quite vertical. 6, 33 and one other at the bottom, lost count. I know its slight but thats the first thing I look at with any photo and to me its distracting, but they are great shots.

I am kinda new to night shots, but MAN I found it difficult to properly align the shot since in some cases I couldn't hardly see ANYTHING! I guess I should have photoshopped it though - I'll pay closer attention, thank you!
