i was bored, so decided to take these and try out that close up thingie

The pictures are too big to view on the screen. Try to keep your photos at around 600 x 400 pixels for optimum viewing on most people's monitors.

i wanted to keep it dark, so the front of the keyboard is not blinded out by the flash tho...what can i do to make it lighter but not wipe out the front of the picture?

haha cool,ooh and i also have russian letters on my keyboard too =)
but yeah i did use a lamp, but see the way the letters reflect the light and look weird =(

You might try bouncing your flash if you can or reflecting the light to get more even lighting.
