I'm so glad I always take my camera with me on the golf course. Caught this little guy ground feeding on one of the tee boxes.

I always like birds to be in branches or flying... usually, when they're in the ground there's just not much to do with them... kinda hard to make a good pic in that situation... but you managed pretty good. I like them

Thanks. These are ground feeders and generally spend time on the edge of marshes and beaches. I honestly can't think of any time I've seen one in a tree.

Killdeer are not tree dwellers.....the live there lives on the ground.
