King Kong|| Good or Bad Movie??

Hey,

What are your predictions on this movie? I have heard so much about it and I've seen the video game. Personally, I'm not to excited; just never been a big King Kong fan.

What about you guys?

I'm not a King Kong fan either, but I have every faith in Peter Jackson's ability. It should be good, I'd say.

Not another re-make? Hollywood never learns...
They even make noises about remaking Gone With The Wind every now and then.

sometimes remakes have their place, i think. unfortunately yours mine and ours does not. original was perfectly fine IMO.

sorry, onto the topic. king kong looks cool. It has peter jackson directing, and jack black acting. add two rather eccentric looking men with completely different styles and voila, a masterpiece

The remake of Planet of the Apes...was terrible. Completely missed the whole point of the original.

I have complete and total faith in Jackson...that dude could direct bananas being digested through a monkey's intestines and it would be superb...I don't think I've ever seen a Jackson film i didn't like. Re-makes do suck but this isn't based on any other movie but rather Cooper's book.

I never saw the original, but definately enjoyed War of the Worlds.

Although, the whole time I could only think of Half-Life 2. (best game EVER!)
