kiron lens - filter size?

i just recently aquired an AE-1 from ebay that has a kiron 35-135mm f/3.4-4.5 lens on it. the haze/uv filter that is on it is worn and the measurements have been rubbed off. does anybody happen to know what size filter goes on this thing so i can go get a polarizing filter for it?

there should be a number like 55Ø on the lens which will be your filter size. or maybe on the back of the lens cap.
