Kite Drying

My first attempt at a BxW/Color combo. The edges around the kite were the hardest to blend.

try again, and this time, do it pixel by pixel at 400% for the accuracy.

Or...you could just use the quick selection tool and not wanna kill yourself when you're done.

Thanks! What I did, not sure if it is right or not, was make a copy. I made the copy grayscale then switched it back to RGB. I then selected the kite, to the best of my ability, from the original, and moved it on top of the copy which now has no color in it. I flattened the image, but the edges looked off.

yeah, if it works, doesn't when I try it 99% of the time.

Touch up the sand around the edges of the kite, it's still yellow. Other than that, it looks good.

Right, and zoom in so you can use a smaller cursor.
