Did you apply a "toned down" on-camera flash? Is that what shows in her (his?) eyes?

what you see reflected is the flash, but its bouncing off the cieling and im on the floor, its a diffused, off camera canon flash. I think I had the FEC dialed up 1/3 stop . It kinda gave it a softbox look I think!!

Good guess, its a HE. and he loves to play with crickets and smell peoples feet. I dont know why always with the feet....

You're lucky to have gotten that shot. My cats are VERY curious so they have to sniff my camera and grab it with their claws when I get close to them.
