I'd just like to hear about anyone's direct experience with this film.

I have shot a few rolls and it's a good average speed film to use in daylight. I rated mine at 160 and processed normal. That extra over bump gives a bit more color saturation. Can easily be scanned high res and printed up to 40x60 with good results.
If you want even finer grain than go to Portra 160 or Extar 100. Again I would rate the film slightly lower for better color sat. 160 at 125 and 100 at 80.

Saw some recently and wasn't wildly impressed. It did, however, remind me of long-gone Fuji Superia(100?)120 that yielded Pokemon-like color that suited some situations. Never a devoted Gold fan. Frankly, as Scotty said above, the pro Kodak materials are just plain better, as are Fuji 120 films that survive or nestle in my freezer. Always thought the Gold 200 120 release just proved that Kodak saw reality in the mirage of a widespread film revival.
