Haha, I bought my daughter a STEM kit to grow crystals that glow in the dark, but I'm pretty sure I'm having more fun with it than she is... I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some photos of it. First one is a top down, single image. The second is a nine image focus stack from the side. Both shot with my Nikon D800 and Nikon 105mm macro lens. The focus stacking wasn't perfect. I think PS struggled with the images, which resulted in some manual blending. It's not perfect, but it's as good as I can get!
