After seeing all of the fantastic flower (and generally amazing) shots. I had to throw this one in. This frame is from earlier today. Here everything is green, but not yet flowering. There is nothing wrong with "stand in" is there?

I love this picture, it just gives me that happy summer feeling 8) I agree with Dekz, it would be fun to see it with different shutter speeds. Nice shot!
 
Great composition. nice compositional elements (progressive rhythm)

Maybe would have been bettr served in the Critique Thread?
 
whats really cool about the pic is that the sun flare goes directly above the ladybug antena! I usually don't like lens flares, but here it looks great. Excellent shot :)
 
I must admit I am partial to lens flare. Except in the studio (yeah I know, but at least it only happened once, maybe twice). The problem is that they mostly look like mistakes. On occasion a flare can be pretty dramatic. In this case I felt it added a little magic.
