I took this in Ireland last summer. I know the quality isn't great, I don't have a great scanner so please forgive me. Just though I'd post it and give everyone a look see.

This is a photo that is absolutely and totally timeless.
It could have been taken 50 years ago or even a longer time ago, and was, in fact, taken in 2005 - but it still looks as if time had stood still in that place since almost forever. I like this aspect so much. Nothing gives away that it was only taken last year, not her clothing, not the bike, not the barrels ... my first thought was: the village midwife, about to set out to helping yet another young woman give birth, I don't know why I was thinking this?

Yeah, what Corinna said +1... nice shot!

I agree, its timeless! I love it!!! :D

great shot... i think laFoto said it all... only i wasn't thinking midwife... ;)

Thank you everyone for your very kind replys. I really appreciate it. She told me a story after I took that photo of her, and she also gave me a tour of the pub. The funny part is, is that it is part of folkpark, but no one thing in it has changes since that pub was opened. She actually lived in America in her early years earning money at White Castle, then returned home to support the pub. It was really cool and interesting.
