Landscape Lens

I am in need of a new lens and decided that a wide angle lens would benefit me. This would be mostly for landscapes. What is a good landscape lens for the price.

I have this one and love it. Really great lens. I agree with the reviewers appraisal as well.

If you don't necessarily need the f2.8, or fancy the hefty price tag, the 17-40mm f4 could be worth considering, great value for L glass. Bear in mind that on the 350d these will be equivalent to approximately 25.5mm (16-35) and 27mm (17-40) at the wide ends.

Tokina makes a 12-24mm that i'm pretty sure fits the EF mount. I've heard that it's comparable to the Nikkor 12-24, so it should be pretty good.

Yeah a budget would help.
