Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Again with my phone camera ... I have no experience whatsoever at landscape. I've been posting things with subjects so I just thought that I'd like to hear some feedback on this.

Taken from a small boat we were in.

that is a pretty good photo it makes me wonder what it would look like with a little more contrast

ok i'll fiddle around a bit.

that is looking a little better. I played with it a little and tried the auto white balance and it just pops. You did a great job with just a camera phone

thanks! should i add more contrast or is that okay?

I did the auto white balance and then i adjusted the white balance by like 5

that's what happened to mine too when i did autofix haha

awesome keep up the good work and I can't wait to see more photos

Much improved with increased contrast, but it's still lacking an interesting subject IMO.

i thought there wasn't supposed to be subjects in landscape shots?

An inherent feature of phone cameras is deep depth-of-field making them particualrly useful for landscape photos.

Your subject matter here is pretty mundane and the time of day chosen is bad but...

The best landscape photos are made soon after sunup and just before sundown.

The photo needs to be cropped both top and bottom to give it more of a panoramic look, which is where the camera phone fall flat on it's face, because to crop pixels must be discarded.
