I've just sold my Tokina 11-16mm, so this is sort of a fond farewell to what was my favourite lens for a couple of years. I can probably bid this collapsing house in rural Manitoba adieu as well – who knows if it's been able to make it through this winter.

(Surprisingly enough, the lens still looked like new. I take good care of my gear, even though I use it a lot.)

Why are you selling your favorite lens?

I've been using the Tokina (a lens designed for a cropped sensor) on a full-frame camera. I thought this was a good time to get an ultra-wide angle lens designed for a full-frame sensor, so I made the jump.
