I think the colour version is the strongest of the two images, the focus is spot on and the colours really warm.. It's a great shot, I don't think I would have done anything differently.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I agree, the color is better, and for the record, tax refunds rule I got $200! (A lot for a poor college student )

For MY refunds I got -$150! My boss doesn't take NEARLY enough taxes out of my paycheck! I was rather peeved...
