learning photoshop before/after pic

Hey, i dug this photo up and decided to work a little photoshop magic on it...Tell me what u think, dont worry about hearting my feelings lol...thanks in advance

you straightened the horizon: good!

also the crop is in principle a good idea, but it is a bit tight! ... would be nice to have at least some of the sand.

saturation and contrast are a bit overdone IMHO ... due to the strong contrast you lost lots of details in the clouds ...

did you sharpen?

Ya it was sort of a compromise between contrast verses detail...um i tried to balance it out as much as i could..I using just a point and shoot so i didn't sharpen at all but i guess it would be a good idea anyway.

I can see them now. Two things that come to mind... It would be nice to see larger images and there is a "tilt" that could probably be fixed with a slight rotation. Looks like you did some saturation on them?
