Leftfield phorographers?

hi folks .. so im about to embark on a project for art school which involves taking random objects (tv's etc) in to the middle of no where, on top of mountains etc .. i was wondering if anyone new of photographers who did similar work, taking the normal out of its surroundings and putting it elsewhere .. any ideas would be much appreciated .. thanx.

ive seen alot of people do this. its a fun subject, a little over done tho. do somethign creative like... take a sandwich and a plate and sum chips to the peak of a mountain and set it up nicely. lol dunno ne particular names of photogs who do stuff liek this tho.

I've seen a few pics like this...but I couldn't name anyone specifically. It will be a cool effect though.
