What is your favorite filter to use and for what effect? I am curious about trying shooting different things with a polarized filter but would like to hear some creative comments.

VND, for silky water in rivers & streams.

Does the VND filter darken the exposure or did you shoot those amazing shots in lower light? Especially the first shot where the focus penetrated the water and the flow looks super silky.

Circular polarizer for reflections
I love a TRUE Sky Light filter for fall.

Any ND or VND simply cuts back on the amount of light that enters the lens... allowing for longer shutter speeds.

Gibbon Falls was shot in full sunlight.

I am going to buy one of these filters to play with. I love the photo's...cool!
