Lens kits for cell phones - Anyone tried them?

I've seen plenty of lens / accessory kits for cell phones on Ebay and I've been tempted to try them but wanted to see if anyone here has had any success with them? I understand the old adage of "you get what you pay for" but I've just been curious. Thanks in advance for your input.

Never tried anything like this but did get my daughter (13) a fish eye lens that attaches to her iPhone. It was junk. Of course it was just a cheap toy, not the elaborate set up here...

I'm sure these are probably junk too but my curiosity is getting the best of me.
