Lens quality question

I saw these two lenses online and for the life of me can't figure out the difference, other than the APO designation on the one. Any help on this would be nice.

Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO Macro Super:
has a compact Apochromatic tele zoom lens incorporating two Special Low Dispersion glass elements in the front lens group, plus one Special Low Dispersion glass element in the rear lens group, to minimize chromatic aberration. APO = Nice low dispersion glass, similar to ED from nikon, typically low dispersio glass produces sharper, more contrasty images, and helps significantly reduce chromatic abberation.
