Lens Skirt XL on 14-24?

Will the Lens Skirt XL fit on the Nikon 14-24? Does the Lens Skirt screw on to the end of the lens? If so, how does it attach to the 14-24 since there are no threads on this lens?

If this is what you're referring to, it looks to cinch on the barrel of the lens.
