Lensbaby compatibility.

I have recently gone mirrorless and got a Fujifilm X_T2 moving from Canon DSLR consequently I am needing to replace my Canon kit with Fuji and I am hoping that I will be able to use my Canon-fit Lensbaby Composer II with Sweet 35mm on the Fuji by using a Canon to Fuji adaptor. I think in theory because focusing on the Lensbaby is by the lens and not the camera this should work. Am I right?

@Allsop. correct. manual focus either way. make sure to turn on "shoot with lens off" in settings. turn on focus peaking highlights, I prefer high red peaking. I have focus peaking preview turned off, I don't care for the magnified pop up.

I am 99% certain that @SquarePeg does this with a Canon mount lensbaby. However, I know it works.

I use a Nikon mount Lensbaby Velvet 56 on my Fuji XT2 with a $30 adapter I got on Amazon. Works great. With the LB having aperture rings, there is no need for a fancy adapter.

Okay guys a follow up question! Is there any reason that I can not fit some Macro filters to the Composer II with Sweet 35mm mounted on a Canon/Fuji adaptor? In theory I can not think of a reason but want to check before buying the macro rings.
