I`m thinking about getting the Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f1.6 for a fun sort of lens, I know it is a manual lens but just want some thoughts on it. @SquarePeg do you have or use the 56.

I`m thinking about getting the Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f1.6 for a fun sort of lens, I know it is a manual lens but just want some thoughts on it. @SquarePeg do you have or use the 56.

I do have it and really enjoy it. It has a really pretty glow affect when opened up and is surprisingly sharp. The trick is to manually focus at f/4 to use focus peaking then you can open up the lens if you want a shallower dof.
