Lest we forget

I went to the local cemetery this evening about an hour before sunset
and I was choked seeing the time that are recorded on these
tombstones, I felt subdued. I sharpened the last two as they were
too under exposed from lack of light. More to come.

Nice shooting. The last is my fave in the series.
Always sad to see a childs grave. We have one cemetery here, where the children used to be buried seperate from the rest of the families. I have never understood why tho. :er:

Thanks Chiller for your comment. Burrying children in seperate burial place must have something to do with the local believe I guess. In this cemetary it seem they were burried in the same plot.

Anyway, I have Browsed each grave in this cemetary, and few times I have to kneel to read those unreadable markings. And I have done the crawling under the shrubs too .

I need to roam to other cemeteries next time to beat the record find. At this moment the oldest cemetary found on record is 1813, I will find the older one.

These are taken with ISO 200 on manual. I sharpen the last two, and thanks for looking.
