The last time people were talking reasonable it was about music.

Travel?

Any suggestions for travel in Europe?

I'm going to the UK-Portugal-Spain in August. Think I might take a train through Paris and spend a night or two there.

Can you rent laptops for travel? I'm probably going to be taking an unusual amount of pictures on the trip. Is there any other way store pics. Other than my iPod, which I would rather not use.

If your going to the UK you just have to go to the West Highlands of scotland that or the Lakes in the north west.

As for storage I use a JOBO giga one which has 30gb of space but the latest ones are now 40gb

I bought a portable hard drive thingy...don't have the link to it here with me at work...but if you remind me after 3pm central time, I'll be home, and I'll link ya up. It's small and fits 20gigs.

oh oh oh.. also... if you get to rent a car... it's beautiful driving around the countryside ... language is a problem.. but its stunning! we did a drive from malaga to valencia to barcelona... beautiful stuff

Yeah...Barcelona is where I'm flying home from.

And I'm not doing any traveling in the UK. I used to live there, the only thing I'm doing there is visiting family. Hopefully for the shortest time possible.

I just realized how bad that sounds. I wish I could visit family for aslong as possible, but being in England is not where I'd like be spending a "vacation". Been there done that, moved 3000 miles to get away from it. Now, the rest of EU. I'm trying to convince my Mum to come to Portugal with me on the train. She hates flying.

We walked through, lol....I remeber winning a few hundred bucks at the casino and not having to convert spending money which was cool. The beer tasted great, I hate heinekin, but it was amazing there.

I may take you up on that. Depends what the lady friend wants to do. We're planning to do one night in London partying I hope. And I probably won't be able to handle many beers from the UK. Beer is weak in Canada.
