I was messing around with my old Sony DSC W1 a while ago. I did this one.

I was trying to convey a feeling of perhaps history. Not really sure, I just like the way it felt.

Let me know what you guys think from all aspects of viewing.

I like your idea and your composition but here is what I find wrong about the execution. The knob of the oil lamp is the only thing truly in focus, the rest of the lamp on the left is slightly out of focus. If you can get the lamp in focus, the knob a little out of focus and leave the back lamp totally out of focus as you already have I think it would improve the shot greatly. Oh yeah and your DOF is awesome so don't mess with that too much, I like being able to see the back lamp without it being detailed at all. Good work
