Ah, the TREE. I hate those things ... they always move into the scene at the wrong time !!

Nice launch shots.

Does that tree filter come in 72mm size ?

Like the 1st shot. I would love to see one of these in the wild some day...

I can hear Owls near my girlfriends house, but never have i seen one. :(

I manged to find my resident Great Honed Owl this morning and caught him taking flight, unfortunately by the third click the stupid tree was in the way... Such is the way of Owls.... Comments welcome...
Such is the way of PHOTOGRAPHY, not necessarily just Owls ;) One of these days I might get one nature photograph when the exposure is just exactly right, the composition is just exactly right, the light is just exactly right, and the background is just exactly right. I'm not gonna hold my breath though. We don't have the luxury of posing our subjects in a studio, we take the hand we are dealt and do the best with it that we can. The first two are excellent shots so be content with that.

Nicely done!

Great shots of a majestic bird!

Darn tree...

First shot is awesome!

Very well said...

And love the photos. The first two are great. I've never seen an owl in the wild, even though I hear them from time to time around the house.
