i wanted to do some lighting experiments, i had an old black light bulb sitting around and used that as my subject. this was done with nothing more than house hold lamps, some foam core card stock and a peice of glass.

The technical lighting thing isn't my department. But I like the lower shadow and reflection very much! My only nitpik is that you lost a little bit of the curvature of the upper part of the bulb. It gets lost in the bg. That also makes the light at the very top a little distracting.

Very unique shot. How did you stand the bulb up?

Nice one! I love the reflection and the soft light here. I would also like to see the entire curve of the bulb outlined here - the shape being the important element here. Definitely worth another shot, if the setup is easy. :)
