Which crop is better?
I like them both, so I can't decide between the two!

I like the second one better...but I would like to see just a little more on the bottom. I want to see just enough water on this side of the land to give us the view that the light house is out on the peninsula.

I personally prefer the first, but I'm not exactly sure why. I think the vertical crop compliments the height of the light house, the other seems to lose that feeling for me.

First one with some water cropped off.
Second one with lil more land.

First one. Maybe with a bit of the water showing I would go for number 2 though.

Thanks everyone!
After standing back and looking at them both(considering what y'all have said) I think I like the first one the most with that crop I think it compliments the lighthouse very nicely.
A border might fit it nicely... I'll try that also.

If anyone has any other ideas.... please go ahead and add to this!

Same here: I immediately felt (and in 'critiquing' I mostly just feel, mind) that I prefer the first over the second. The vertical frame gives the lighthouse the room it needs. That's my feeling.

Another question..... High contrast? or low contrast?

Here is another one I made that is higher contrast and has a border... tell me what you think...

I also placed it in the first post next to the other pictures for reference.
