Light Post-processing laptop

Hey guys, I'm wondering what laptop would be good for doing some light editing on. My current laptop is falling apart and I'm looking at either a MacBook Air or pro retina 13". I want a lightweight, small laptop with decent battery life because I travel a lot. I don't want anything bigger than 14". Also, a SSD is preferred, I have a few external memory things so if the laptop doesn't have that much memory it's ok. I don't do a lot of heavy processing, I usually just use Lightroom and sometimes Photoshop but nothing extreme. I have no preference of Mac or Windows, I use Windows now. If there is anything else under $1200 that's worth taking a look at please mention it, thanks!
