i got two pictures of the same flower (i still dont know the names) both have different lighting to them. which one is better?

IMO, the second.
But they both need some cropping.

Why stick with 4 x 6 and keep all the stuff at the top?
The flowers in the back are OOF and, IMO, its only the color that you need so you can chop them off with no problem.

By chopping them off, it minimizes their impact and focusses the attention on one in foreground.

i don't like either crop, i think it should have been shot wider from that viewpoint, even in the travelers crop there is no strong center of interest.

if you backed up some and looked to the right a little i think it would be better since you could see the whole flower
