- Can others edit my Photos
- Photos NOT OK to edit
I just spent the past couple hours cleaning out and organizing my desktop and external hard drive to prepare for the upcoming year of work. I was working really slow, and writing things down to ensure that I didn't miss any steps and didn't miss a single beat. {I had many many hiccups this year with lost images and such, and have been seriously burned by moving too quickly.}
I just went into Lightroom to do some editing, and a question mark is popping up on the entire folder and all of the images. {i wanted to scream.} I just emptied my trash and I think that particular folder may have accidentally gotten thrown into a different one which ultimately ended up in the trash. Just ran my recovery programs with no luck. It's also not in my backup folder.
If the thumbnails are showing up, is there a way to retrieve them even if the quality is less than ideal?
I don't know why, but I have been struggling immensely with lost images since I started using Lightroom. I see how it's made my workflow go so much smoother in regards to editing, but I have never lost images until I started using this program. Can someone please shed some light on this for me? Is anyone in the Chicago area who would be willing to take me under the wing and show me the ropes of this program before my busy kicks back up in March? I am desperate. frustrated. and feeling a little hopeless!
