LightRoom with OneDrive

Has anyone tried using Lightroom with OneDrive especially using the Onedrive on demand or Online only mode. In this mode the Windows Explorer shows the file but does not actually download the complete file. This allows in saving the space on disk and it’s only downloaded when we access the file. So I want to store all files on Onedrive and use Lightroom to catalog.

Might want to read the fine print on those usage agreements, especially the part about not being responsible for loss (as in lost files), before you go putting your only copy of something on a cloud server.

That’s a risk I would accept and especially in using Office365.
